MASSAGE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We strive to provide our patients with a professional therapeutic massage in an inviting environment.

In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all of our patients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE:

First time patients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early. This allows appropriate time to complete your initial check in procedures.

Established clients should arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled time.

Early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.

If late arrival occurs, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. However, the original treatment time will be charged.

The clinic will remain open during inclement weather unless public services have issued a travel warning.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand that unforeseen events may occur that require the rescheduling or cancellation of your appointment.

Please provide at least a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. We provide a reminder email and text 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

You are welcome to make changes by replying to the reminder email or text, so please make sure that we have a good cell phone and email to reach you.

NO SHOW POLICY:

Clients who miss their appointment without canceling, or attempt to cancel on the day of service will be financially responsible for the service.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:

We regret that late arrivals may not receive their full appointment time. However, when our schedule will allow, we will make every effort to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with advanced notification of your late arrival. You will still be responsible for the original fee.

EXISITING & NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS

It is the responsibility of the patient to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatments, prescriptions or diagnoses.

The patient must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health or condition.

PRIVACY POLICY:

Your massage therapy records are securely kept in the strictest confidence by this clinic.  Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers and insurance companies without your written consent or court order.

CONDUCT:

Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Our clinic reserves the right to determine what type of conduct ‘is’ and ‘isn’t’ appropriate during the service. If in doubt, don’t say or do it.

A conduct violation may result in the immediate termination of the service. We also reserve the right to take any other actions we deem appropriate. We maintain a very safe environment for our staff AND clients. Our full fee will be expected.

TREATING MINORS:

The therapists at Quartell Chiropractic are trained and prepared to work with patients of all ages.

The parent or guardian must be present to complete a consent form for the minor before the session begins.

1 Hour Massage Therapy

All of our therapy is performed at our facility. We follow the industry standards for a 1 hour massage. This includes 60 minutes of room time, with approximately 50 minutes of ‘hands on’ time.
